"Any starchy agricultural product " pumpkins are not part of GROUND provision group, while breadfruit would be, also plantains, even though theres no starch

Ground Provision - as the name says, it is mostly foods like edible tubers(root crop) that you get from under the ground. Yes they are mostly starchy. Examples are yams, cassava, dasheen, eddoes, tannia, sweet potato, other types of potatoes. Although plantains and breadfruit are cooked and eaten alongside/with the edible root crops they are not ground provisions.

All ah y'all that don't understand utilize Google rass cause like allyuh ain't get comprehension skills πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„. Ground provision meaning it grows underground and is mostly starch examples: sweet potato, cassava, Eddoe, dasheen, Irish potato, yam etc. If y'all does make soup/metemgee yuh need ground provisions every Guyanese/Dominican person knows this ✌
