Hi, my question is about pie-assing. I say this all the time and try not to be it. Does anyone know the etymology of pie-assing? I had to explain it to my grandson the other day when he was not giving his all to a project he committed to.

I was thinking about this word too! My moms says it all the time. I guess it’s another word for assing around. No etymology in this one. # myGuess

I always thought it was payassing from payaso which means clown in Spanish. Payassing - clowning around.
