noun Roselle (hibiscus sabdariffa) is a member of the hibiscus, okra and cotton family. This annual herb grows erect and is sparsely branched. The stems are green or red, with green leaves and the calyxes and three to five lobed and red when matured. Sorrel is acidic and has a flavour similar to the cranberry. The leaves and flowers are edible.

Has anyone ever made and ate sorrel jam. It is just as delicious as the drink or maybe more lol. I use the fresh picked sorrel, boil it, separate the boil juice from the fruit. Blend the fruit add sugar in a pot with the blended fruit and cook it as you would when making any jam.
