The Lagahoo chase me down through the long winding track in the cane field, I can still feel and smell it's hot rotten foul breath on the back of my neck. My eyes were full with tears of terror, but strangely enough I noticed how majestic and big the moon seemed, with all its silvery light. Through the bamboo patch and up the hill pass the silk cotton tree, and yes, voop she gone just like that.

The silk cotton tree can work against you and also it can protect you, you need the right knowledge. First of all don't disrespect nature. Learn the craft

The Lagahoo can outrun anybody, and I mean anybody, just because you know some athletes and can jog around Queens Park Savannah a dozen times, boi is joke yah making, man I use to run in my younger days, and ah mean like a bat out of hell, but Mr. Lagahoo can read yah mind especially that moment just before you fall asleep, from consciousness to dream state that moment is like a vulnerable gateway

Dark shapeless things shifting in the shadows twisting and turning intermittently, sweat pouring off your brow into your eyes, stinging with the saltiness of it, but the fear is real and the body tense and rigid, the eyes refuse to shut, the sniggering noise had a kind of whistling sound to it. Mr. Lagahoo showed his sharp pointed teeth as he floated towards me.
