. I have wonderful memories as a child growing up in Antigua, foraging in the pastures after school for Dumms. My preference was the overripe, mushy fleshed, brown skinned variety , while others prefererred the firm, crunchy, greenish /yellow skinned variety. I have not spotted Dumms in markets outside of the Caribbean. Sadly, not many children have been introduced to this delicious fruit.
