Belizean's do not use "mi" as a First person singular, We use "I", or ''Ah''.  Ex. 'I mi call ah' is correct, 'Mi mi call ah' is not.

Interesting. I have a friend from Belize who uses mi as first person singular. Maybe he picked it up from other west indians.

Maybe he's doing Jafakecan patois, or you're mixing it up with a past tense marker which is "mi".
